The role
UQ Computing Society is one of the largest technology societies at The University of Queensland. As Industry Officer I own the relationship between the society and the companies that fund and support it: identifying prospective partners, pitching the society, negotiating terms, and looking after those partnerships once signed.
Outcomes
- Secured more than $30,000 in sponsorship funding.
- Increased funding by 40% and expanded the sponsor base by 30% in 2026.
